FAMILY-FRIENDLY VISITS

The Oddities Museum is family-friendly and welcomes visitors of all ages. There is no nudity, sexual content, violence, or vulgarity in the museum.

However, some exhibits explore subjects that younger or more sensitive visitors may find unusual, spooky, or uncomfortable, including taxidermy, medical history, human and animal remains, funerary objects, and preserved specimens. Parents and guardians are encouraged to use their own judgment based on their child’s comfort level.

Children must remain supervised by a parent or responsible adult while inside the museum. Please help us protect the collection by making sure younger visitors do not touch exhibits, climb on displays, or run through the galleries.

RE-ENTRY IS PERMITTED

Want to grab lunch or explore Chamblee before coming back? No problem!

Your museum admission is valid for the entire day of your visit. Simply keep your printed or electronic ticket and present it to staff when you return.

RESTROOM ACCESS

Two restrooms are available within the museum.

An accessible restroom is also available. Please ask a staff member if you need assistance locating it.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Photography is allowed! Feel free to take photos throughout the museum and please tag us if you share your visit online.

Please do not use flash photography, as repeated flash can be harmful to certain objects and materials.

PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THE EXHIBITS

Many objects in our collection are antique, fragile, irreplaceable, or preserved using materials that can be damaged by handling.

Please do not touch, move, lean on, or handle museum objects, artwork, display cases, or taxidermy.

Even clean hands naturally contain oils that can cause permanent damage over time.

NO FOOD OR DRINK IN THE MUSEUM

To help protect the collection, food and beverages are not permitted inside the museum galleries.

Exceptions include baby bottles, breastfeeding, and food, beverages, or supplies required for medical purposes.

Food and drinks offered as part of designated museum events may be permitted in approved areas.
