The Elephant in the Room
We have been gifted an elephant! Over the past year, we have been working tirelessly to retrieve a large donated collection from The Great Plains Zoo & Delbridge Museum of Natural History in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Although we didn't receive the entire collection, we shared this honor with the University of Notre Dame that is working towards building a natural history wing to their museum. Notre Dame was previously given the full size African Elephant, but they have generously decided to pass it along to us.
This is an incredible opportunity but also an unexpected expense. We need to get the elephant home to Atlanta and will be a significant cost to the museum. You can be apart of this historical event, by helping just a little. Our projected expenses include travel, freight, equipment, labor and temporary storage.

freight = $3,500.00
equipment rental = $700.00
labor = $800.00
temporary storage = $1,000.00
Totaling = $7,000.00
