Night at the Museum with Javelinas featuring Monique Osorio

Javelinas is an Atlanta-based electronic music duo featuring Scott Burland (theremin, electronics) and Ryan Taylor (modular synthesizer, programming). Their work explores the intersection of analog and digital sound, combining the theremin’s expressive tones with evolving modular textures and rhythmic undercurrents. Drawing on traditions of ambient, drone, and experimental electronic music, Javelinas create performances that are both atmospheric and dynamic. Since forming, the duo has become an active part of Atlanta’s experimental and underground music community, appearing at Eyedrum, Underground Atlanta, Railroad Earth and the No Words Festival. Each live set emphasizes improvisation, making every performance a unique experience of sonic exploration.
