The Art of Marty Gordon - Evening Reception

Artist Statement

Marty Gordon is a visual artist residing in Atlanta, GA. Blending sophisticated humor with a retro comic visual style, he has developed his own unique genre of collage.

He has exhibited his art nationally and internationally and is one of 40 artists featured in the publication Masters: Collage. His collaborations with other artists can be seen in self-published books through Microverse Press, an indie press run by Marty and a friend.

For a few years he stopped making collage art and began drawing a monster a day which he has collected in a self-published book, Sensitive Monsters. Since living in Atlanta, he started the Atlanta Collage Collective to help promote collage as an art form and create community among its artists. Most recently, his art has been featured in sticker festivals (street art) around the world. When not making art, Marty enjoys reading, improv comedy, time with his wife, family, friends and god kids.
